Kimberly Clarke helps clients protect their trademarks, copyrights, and rights of publicity. Kimberly focuses her practice on counseling, prosecution and transactions in the fields of trademark and copyright law. Specifically, Kimberly advises clients on matters regarding trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, enforcement, and portfolio management. Kimberly honed her trademark expertise as Trademark Examining Attorney with the United States Patent & Trademark Office. As a Trademark Examining Attorney, Kimberly examined trademark applications submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Kimberly receive her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Sociology from Oberlin College. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law. While in law school, Kimberly was a member of the Moot Court Board, was an intern for the Honorable Alexander Williams of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and served as a student attorney in the Intellectual Property Clinic. After law school, Kimberly worked at law firms Covington & Burling and O'Melveny & Myers.
Kimberly is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and the state of Maryland. Kimberly resides in the District of Columbia where she is an active member of the community.
